Hudayriyat Island has emerged as one of the strongest performers in Abu Dhabi’s real estate market, leading residential sales for the second consecutive quarter in 2026. During the first half of the year, the island recorded Dh19 billion in residential sales, representing 27% of Abu Dhabi’s total residential sales value.
The strong performance highlights the growing appeal of Hudayriyat Island among property buyers and investors. As new residential developments continue to expand, the destination is becoming an increasingly important part of Abu Dhabi’s real estate landscape.
Other major destinations also recorded significant sales activity. Saadiyat Island ranked second, while Al Reem Island, Al Maryah Island and Yas Island continued to attract strong interest from homebuyers and investors. This demonstrates the broad strength of Abu Dhabi’s leading residential and investment communities.
The latest market figures also show continued growth in Abu Dhabi’s investment zones, which account for a substantial share of the emirate’s residential stock. With more developments, lifestyle communities and investment opportunities entering the market, Abu Dhabi is strengthening its position as a major destination for both local and international real estate investors.
Hudayriyat Island’s continued leadership in sales value reflects the increasing demand for premium and well-planned residential destinations in the UAE capital. With its expanding property offerings and strategic position within Abu Dhabi’s evolving real estate market, the island is expected to remain an important destination for buyers seeking long-term investment and modern waterfront living.
