Dubai Holding has awarded a Dh5 billion construction contract to China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCEC ME) for the development of its new headquarters and Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers. The deal represents the largest building contract awarded by Dubai Holding to date and highlights the company’s continued investment in Dubai’s commercial and luxury residential sectors.
The new Dubai Holding headquarters is planned as a distinctive corporate landmark and is scheduled to open in 2029. Designed by the internationally recognised architecture and engineering practice Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), the building will feature a distinctive circular form centred around an open-air atrium and landscaped courtyard. Expansive terraces will also be incorporated into the design to support collaboration and interaction among employees.
Sustainability, technology and employee wellbeing are key elements of the headquarters concept. The development aims to meet leading international standards for sustainability and wellbeing while supporting a more efficient and lower-carbon approach to future office space in Dubai.
The construction contract will also advance Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers, a major luxury residential development comprising 754 branded residences across two towers. Handover of the residential project is scheduled for 2030, adding another high-end residential destination to one of Dubai’s most prominent districts.
Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers is being developed by Meraas and designed by SCDA Architects. The project combines contemporary architecture with Jumeirah’s hospitality and service expertise, alongside lifestyle, wellness and leisure experiences. Its location is expected to provide residents with direct connectivity to important business, cultural and lifestyle destinations across Dubai.
The latest investment reflects Dubai Holding’s long-term strategy of strengthening its portfolio through high-quality commercial and residential assets. The combination of a landmark corporate headquarters and a premium branded residential development is expected to further enhance the area’s appeal while contributing to Dubai’s position as a global centre for business, investment and luxury living.
With the headquarters targeted for completion in 2029 and the residential development scheduled for handover in 2030, the project is set to become an important addition to Dubai’s evolving skyline and real estate landscape.
