Sharjah’s real estate market continued its positive momentum in April 2026, recording Dh3.5 billion in property transactions. According to the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, the emirate completed 15,669 real estate transactions during the month, highlighting steady demand and growing investor confidence across residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural sectors.
The total area traded through sales transactions reached nearly 13 million square feet, reflecting healthy market activity across multiple property segments. Government-backed initiatives, investor-friendly regulations, and ongoing infrastructure developments have played a significant role in strengthening Sharjah’s position as one of the UAE’s most attractive real estate investment destinations.
Title deed transactions represented the largest share of activity, accounting for more than half of all transactions. Ownership certificates, initial sales contracts, mortgage transactions, and valuation transactions also contributed to the market’s strong performance. Mortgage deals alone were valued at approximately Dh651 million, demonstrating continued confidence from both buyers and financial institutions.
Sales transactions were recorded across 115 areas throughout Sharjah. Muwaileh Commercial emerged as the most active location in Sharjah City, leading both in transaction volume and trading value. Other high-performing areas included Al Menhaz, Al Sajaa Industrial, and Tilal, reflecting strong interest in established and emerging communities.
The Central Region also experienced robust activity, with Al Belaida recording the highest number of sales and trading value. Meanwhile, the Eastern Region, including Khor Fakkan, Kalba, and Dibba Al Hisn, maintained steady transaction levels, indicating balanced growth across the emirate.
Sharjah’s latest property performance highlights the resilience of its real estate sector despite regional economic challenges. With supportive government policies, expanding urban development, and increasing demand from local and international investors, the emirate continues to strengthen its reputation as a competitive and affordable property market within the UAE.
